During the first wave of Covid in 2020, when stringent lockdown measures were in place and retail stores were unable to operate, Rahul, the founder of Seasons Chennai, reached out to Purplechalk.
Rahul approached Purplechalk with a clear objective in mind: to create an online store that would not only be visually appealing but also easy to manage for both the customers and the Seasons Chennai team. He emphasized the importance of user-friendliness, recognizing that a seamless browsing and purchasing experience would be essential to attract and retain customers. Understanding the urgency and importance of Rahul's request, Purplechalk was motivated to swiftly respond to the situation and deliver a comprehensive solution that would meet Seasons Chennai's requirements.
Upon receiving the client's brief and gaining a comprehensive understanding of their business, we promptly devised a detailed plan of action to execute the website development process. Our main objective was to design a simple yet engaging homepage that would encourage users to explore the different categories, thereby reducing bounce rates.
To enhance the user experience, we implemented smart filters within each category, providing users with the flexibility to refine their search by mixing and matching various criteria. This feature aimed to streamline the browsing process and enable users to find their desired products quickly and efficiently.
Furthermore, we integrated WhatsApp functionality and a scheduler for video calls, empowering the business to efficiently and effectively engage with interested clients. The integration of these tools not only enabled seamless communication but also facilitated organized interactions, ensuring that client inquiries were addressed promptly. By incorporating these features into the website, we aimed to create a platform that not only showcased the client's products but also facilitated smooth customer interactions, ultimately enhancing the overall user experience and supporting the business's growth.
After the successful launch of the website, we took charge of managing the client's social media presence and executing Search Engine Optimization (SEO) strategies. Our dedicated team handled the cataloging operations, ensuring that all product information was accurately displayed on the website.
In addition to these services, we provided valuable support to the client by assisting in the recruitment and training of an internal operations resource. This resource was specifically trained to handle the day-to-day website operations, ensuring smooth functioning and efficient management of the platform.
